floating undisturbed
upon the tranquil waters
a duck travels home
-a travelling haiku
my friend is travelling back to the US. It’s been a while since he was in his homeland.
when I wrote this haiku i had to stop and ponder between the word ‘turbulent’ or ‘tranquil’. what will my friend perceive the dynamic environment around him to be?
in choosing the word, i also threw in a dash of hope and a spark of destiny. from one duck to another duck.
who is to know the emergence that will arise from underneath the surface of the water?
