although there are things you cannot see, it doesn’t mean they do not exist. this haiku is inspired by the poem ‘words of the heart’ in the korean ‘alchemy of souls.’
recently an experiment was offered to our adaptive cultures community. create a six-word story. its a short narrative that can have all the emotional themes of longer stories — from funny to dramatic, sad to scary. These quick stories have a subject and a verb that give the reader a sense of what’s happened.
i gave this experiment a go as its not my usual haiku structure. it starts with three short stories and the forth one transcending all previous stories.
its wind. resting on a rock
its fire. resting in the tree
its water. resting in the soil
its process. of becoming visible. alchemy.
